Not a good match. Kourtney Kardashian‘s relationship with Younes Bendjima wasn’t always a positive experience for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum — and at times the model inadvertently made her “feel bad about herself,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style.
“Younes was so young, without any kids and without any responsibilities,” the source explains. “Even if it wasn’t intentional, his wanting Kourtney’s attention the way he wanted it had a way of making Kourt feel bad about herself, like she wasn’t able to multitask and prioritize even though of course she can. It made her feel bad inside.”
The insider adds, “She’s running many businesses, not to mention she’s very present in the lives of her three kids, and she just needs someone who understands that. She felt like he’d say, ‘I get it, I just want you,’ but then ten days later, they’d be having the same conversation over and over again. Younes hates drama, though, and so does Kourt — and confrontation — so it was a long cycle.”

The Poosh founder started dating Younes in 2016. Younes and Kourtney, who shares her kids with ex Scott Disick, were together for two years before they split in 2018. However, they rekindled their romance in December 2019, but it didn't last long, and they eventually called it quits for good.
In March 2021, Kourtney's sister, Khloé Kardashian, criticized Younes for how he treated Kourtney during their relationship, tweeting, “He was sooooooo toxic and negative for Kourt.” This came after Kourtney expressed she never thinks about Younes anymore.
Although Kourtney has historically been attracted to younger men, her relationship with Scott was marked by a different dynamic. Scott, while younger, exhibited his own issues, but they weren’t rooted in jealousy since he is known to have a lot of self-confidence.

In August 2021, things took another turn when Scott allegedly shaded Kourtney's new romance in a DM shared by Younes on his Instagram Story. Younes responded, “Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. P.S. I ain’t your bro,” showcasing his disdain for Scott's comments.
Meanwhile, Travis seemed to engage with the drama by liking and then unliking a post that called out Younes for exposing Scott. The relationships among Scott, Younes, and Kourtney continue to attract media attention, with their teams not immediately responding to requests for comment from Life & Style.
