Woodpecker wowed the Masked Singer audience with her gorgeous costume and amazing vocals in episode 1 of season 12, and her performances that followed were no different. When Woodpecker made her debut on The Masked Singer stage in episode 1, the judges could not stop talking about her amazing black and red costume. With feathers and bling, it was clear that the person under the mask was ready to command the stage like a pro. And she did just that!
She sang a stunning rendition of “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus for her big performance. Woodpecker held sports tape in her hand in one scene and alluded to having a connection to Beyoncé. She said she is striving to be the youngest billionaire and then held up an SAT answer sheet. At the end of the clue package, Woodpecker said, “Bring it on.”
The clue package definitely gave off the vibe that the person was a former or current child star. The following week, that became more apparent.
In episode 2, she said she was “planting roots” in Hollywood as a kid. But said it was awkward growing up in front of the world. She said everyone was all up in her business. There was a little briefcase in the clue package. She stayed headstrong, dancing to the growing pains at her own pace. She performed “Holding Out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler in episode 2.

In episode 3, Woodpecker said she comes from a line of strong chicks in her family and they all live under one roof. She said there’s tons of perfume, pantyhose, and pink in her home. A picture of Regina Hall was shown in the clue package. Woodpecker revealed her great grandmother introduced her to jazz and Ray Charles. She said that she watches The Masked Singer with her grandmother. She was handed a plate with a burger on it in the clue package. The camera also panned to a globe.

Jennifer Lewis was Woodpecker’s Masked Singer ambassador. Jennifer previously competed on the show as Cleocatra in season 11. She said that she has known Woodpecker since the start, and said that she’s a mogul. Her gift from her Masked Singer Ambassador was a world record. The possibility of this being a young athlete was also on the table.
